From the "village church" to the "cathedrals of industrial work", from summer retreat, housing development, and large suburbs to forced labour and resistance during National Socialism reaches the spectrum of the new permanent exhibition. In its centre are the way people live and work, supplemented by aspects of urban development and culture history. There is also an informative and entertaining audio guide with two cranes informing and accompanying the visitors on their tour through fields and factories – museum pleasure for the whole family!
