to the Museum

On 13 didactic stations, up to six children can explore the world of money. For example one is asked to guess exotic currency from all over the world, or to try at a press how much weight is necessary to mint a picture on a coin – that is to say the weight of a fully fuelled jumbo jet at starting. With exchange plays, the children learn to understand better the meaning of money.

Whether at the strength tester play station or during a short break watching a short movie on minting coins and medals – the children can enjoy all from physical activity to short relaxing.

For preparing and assessing the visit, a material kit with a DVD, a 40-pages booklet and a medal is offered for 7.00 €. On the DVD, there is a five-minute film about manufacturing coins. At the booklet, the children can also put down notes and their results from the play stations.

School classes are welcome after previous registration.
