The Neues Museum, constructed by Friedrich August Stüler and inimitably renovated by David Chipperfield architects, presents the history of the Ancient World from the Near East to the Atlantic. Visitors can admire masterpieces from the Ägyptisches Museum (Egyptian Museum and Papyrus Collection), among others the famous bust of Nefertiti, as well as objects from the collection of the Museum für Vor- und Frühgeschichte (Museum of Pre- and Early History) and magnificent sculptures from the Collection of Classical Antiquities.
