At palace Friedrichsfelde, the history of a representative 18th century residence at the Mark gets visible. Decorative tapestry from the 18th century characterize the splendidly decorated rooms at the ground floor, for example the canvas cover from Palace Lohm close to Kyritz, from Palace Schloss Ostrau close to Halle, and from the Königliche Oberförsterei Zinna close to Jüterborg. Furniture, Berlin porcelains, faience, and glass from Brandenburg give an impression of the gentry culture of the 18th century.
The reconstructed dance and ball room, with rich stucco, and more rooms at the first floor are designed in the style of classicism. Besides paintings by Anton Graff, Jakob Philipp Hackert, Eduard Gaertner, and others, sculptures, furniture, clocks, excellent Berlin silver ware, classicist earthenware and iron products from the Königliche Eisengießerei get presented.
The landscape garden, designed by Peter Joseph Lenné and in close vicinity to the palace, is today part of the zoo Tierpark Friedrichsfelde.
