Please note: Visitors have to use Time slot tickets. These are valid for a day and grant the visitor admission to the Neues Museum for the half-hour time slot stated on the ticket (e.g. from 10 to 10:30). There is no subsequent limit to the time the visitor may then choose to spend in the museum itself.
The easiest way to buy the time slot tickets is online via: www.neues-museum.de . Select a time slot, pay by credit card, print off the tickets yourself and then go directly to the front of the queue at the Neues Museum when your particular time slot comes up. Reduced: 5,00 Euro
Discounted admission is granted to school pupils, students, performer of military or community service, unemployed persons and disabled persons (min. 50%).
Proof of status must be provided in each case.
Children up to 18 free.
Yearly Pass: 40,00 Euro
discounted admission 20,00 Euro (not including special exhibitions).
The following visitors receive free admission:
School pupils accompanied by a teacher (prior registration required), students attending regular courses at university or technical university accompanied by a lecturer (prior registration required), members of ICOM and the German Museums Association (proof of membership required), members of an association of friends for a museum belonging to the National Museums in Berlin (proof of membership required, admission to all permanent exhibitions only), members of an association of friends of a museum responsible for a particular temporary exhibition are granted free admission to that exhibition, owners of a valid, official press pass, social welfare recipients / ALG II recipients with official documentation and the person stated on the severe disability pass, identified as the pass holder’s necessary able-bodied companion.

Yearly Pass PLUS, discounted admission 40,00 Euro. The Yearly Pass PLUS is valid only for permanent and special exhibitions which are hosted by the Staatliche Museen zu Berlin.
Area Ticket Museum Island: 14,00 Euro; discounted admission 7,00 Euro
Valid for all permanent collections on the Museum Island on the same day.
Area tickets, annual passes, 3 day tickets are only valid in the Neues Museum with a free time slot ticket– available at all museums on the Museum Island.
