In almost all Berlin memorial sites and regional museum, many historical museums, and some other collections, admission is free in general:


Admission Free on Special Days
Some Berlin museums offer free entry once a week or once a month. In the national museums, there is no entrance fee for the permanent exhibitions every Thursday for the last 4 hours: from 2 pm till 6 pm in museums which close at 6 pm; and from 6 pm in those museums which close at 10 pm.

 

 

Free Entry for Children and Young People
In many Berlin museums, admission is free for children up to six. Often Museums offer family tickets.
In some Berlin Museums, admission is also free for young people: Berlinische Galerie, Bröhan-Museum, Brücke-Museum and the institutions of the Stadtmuseum (until the age of 19), Deutsches Historisches Museum (German History Museum (until the age of 18), Museum für Kommunikation and Martin-Gropius-Bau (until the age of 16), the institutions of the Staatliche Museen zu Berlin (until the age of 17, but only to the permanent exhibitions).
