The Museumsstiftung Post und Telekommunikation (Museum Foundation for Post and Telecommunications) was founded in 1995 during the federal postal reform. It directs Communications Museums in Berlin, Frankfurt, Nuremberg and Hamburg and the Philatelic Archive in Bonn.
The museums are open to a wide audience offering permanent and special exhibitions as well as lectures, guided tours, films, workshops, children’s workshops and museum festivals.
The purpose of the Foundation is to collect, display and make accessible the entire history of the postal service and telecommunications.
