Carillon concerts at the House of World Cultures
Music - outside and for free!
With 68 bells and 48 tonnes of weight, the concert glockenspiel at the House of World Cultures is one of the world's biggest carillons. It is located in the black tower near the Congress Hall.
There are regular concerts on Sundays from the beginning of May until the end of September, as well as on Easter Sunday and Monday and on October 3 at 3 p.m., and on Sundays during Advent and December 25 and 26 at 2 p.m. There are also guest concerts on five different Saturdays at 4 p.m.
Carillon player Jeffrey Bossin’s repertoire includes classical works, pieces especially composed for carillon and popular songs.
Free admission
Program sheets are available at the tower. Concerts take place in all weathers.
Tours of the tower are offered after the concerts on Sundays and public holidays. Private concerts and tours can also be arranged.
