The northern lights ("Aurora Borealis") and the southern lights ("Aurora Australis") are among the most wonderful natural phenomena. The Korean astrophotographer Kwon O Chul succeeded for the first time in the world in recording this luminous phenomenon in its many facets. Discover the beauty and diversity of the aurora borealis in 360° in the planetarium dome - a magnificent dance of shapes and colors! Original footage from aboard the International Space Station ISS and lifelike visualizations bring us closer to legends and the scientific background of this phenomenon.

The event takes place within the framework of the anniversary "100 years of the Planetarium".

Admission to the event on October 21 is free of charge. Tickets will be issued on the day of the event at the box office in the foyer of the Zeiss Large Planetarium. Please note that capacity is limited.
