The International Holocaust Memorial Yad Vashem, in cooperation with the Art Library and the Freundeskreis Yad Vashem e. V. at the Museum of Photography presents its highly acclaimed exhibition "Flashes of Memory. Photography during the Holocaust" for the first time in Germany. Ludger Derenthal reports on the exhibition from a curatorial perspective and discusses the themes and background of the presentation.
