Travelling between European capitals by train was a luxury in the 1950s. The trains of the "Trans Europ Express" (TEE) were accordingly lavishly equipped: on the outside with striking rounded shapes, on the inside with plenty of space, plush and wood-panelled walls. Discover the travel comfort of the post-war period in the historic TEE multiple unit train, which is now extended and on display at the German Museum of Technology until 14 November.
