"Never again Stasi!" protesters demanded 33 years ago on January 15, 1990, in front of the Stasi headquarters in Berlin-Lichtenberg.
Indeed, the gates opened that evening and thousands of people poured onto the grounds. This continued a process that began in the districts of the GDR and resulted in the world's first comprehensive opening of files of a secret police force. On the 33rd anniversary of the occupation, the partners of Stasi Headquarters. Campus for Democracy commemorate that event.
