On May 3 and 4, 2025, the Museum für Kommunikation Berlin will be the meeting place for the international comics scene: for the eighth time, comics enthusiasts will gather to discover the latest trends and works from the scene. The heart of ComicInvasion Berlin 2025 is the Artist Alley: over 90 comic artists, collectives and publishers from all over the world will present their comic works here.
The thematic focus of Comic Invasion 2025 is disability: there will be stage talks, readings and workshops by and with neurodiverse and disabled artists. In order to provide barrier-free access for everyone, measures such as live translations into sign language and mobility aids will be provided.
Also on the program: guided tours through the exhibition Uderzo. From Asterix to Magic Potion in German (Saturday and Sunday, 11 a.m., 3 p.m., 4.30 p.m.), French (Saturday, 1 p.m.) and English (Sunday, 1 p.m.). Comic fans young and old can take part in family workshops and immerse themselves in the universe of the Gauls (Saturday and Sunday, 11 am to 4 pm).
Berlin Comic Scholarship
At ComicInvasion Berlin 2025, the winners of the Berlin Senate's unique comic scholarship will be presented on Saturday, May 3 at 1 pm. Their works will be on display at the Museum für Kommunikation Berlin from July 1 to September 28, 2025.
Newcomer Comic Competition
The motto of this year's Newcomer Comic Competition is "Fact and Fiction" and is inspired by our exhibition NACHRICHTEN - NEWS. The winners will be announced on Sunday, May 4, at 12 noon. A pop-up exhibition on May 3 and 4, 2025 will present the most outstanding entries.
