Marilí Machado

On her tour through Germany and France Marilí Machado makes a stop at the Salon Mühlenhaupt. Marilí is one of the outstanding interpreters of Argentinian music. She enchants audiences with her expressive voice and takes them to the suburbs of Buenos Aires, the subtropical north of Argentina and the vastness of the Pampas. She is often compared to Mercedes Sosa, and not without good reason. Marili has been touring around the world since 1993. Awarded as the best tango singer in Argentina, she can be heard in the big tango shows in Buenos Aires. This time she is joined by her son Tato Rossi Machado, also a singer-songwriter and musician. A dialog develops between the two, an exchange of musical figures, in which both are guided by their favourite titles, be it boleros, tangos, ballads or folklore.
