If Sanssouci Park were not an important part of the World Heritage Site, it would be a nature reserve. Here, in the wet meadows and dry grasslands, along the edges of woods and paths, there are still species that have otherwise become very rare in the local countryside. These include flowers such as the black devil's claw, various orchids, but also inconspicuous plants such as the steppe sedge. During the tour, Charlotte Keyßer and Dr. Michael Burkart explain how the plants are experiencing climate change.
