How do artists see Berlin as a place? The Berlinische Galerie shows art about the city past and present: paintings, sculptures, installations, video art, photography and architecture from the Weimar period until our own day. The works unfold a multi-faceted picture of the townscape and the people who live here.
Look closely as you walk around with our guides. They are trained to point out interesting details and to explain the background to works and artists in our exhibitions. Join the conversation, because art is more than a delight for the senses. It can be a springboard for inspiring discussions – about society, the world, or personal experience.

Meeting point
We will meet inside the museum in the exhibition hall with the stairway.
