Inclusive offer

Visitors with and without visual impairments explore the exhibition of the Egyptian Museum and Papyrus Collection with all their senses. Tactile objects are used.

Since when has writing existed in Egypt? What different types of writing were developed over a period of 3000 years? You will learn which materials were used for writing in Ancient Egypt and what the scribes had to do. You will hear texts from the museum's papyrus collection and be able to touch numerous originals and replicas.

Participation fee incl. admission: 15 Euro
Participation fee with valid admission ticket (annual pass, sponsoring association, ICOM etc.), entitlement to reduction or free admission: 10 Euro
