City life – our dynamic and constantly changing environment challenges us and keeps us on the move. But the hustle and bustle of the metropolis has left its mark on us. In this workshop, you’ll develop a vision for a Berlin of the future that focuses on the mental well-being of its residents.

In the “Your emotional city” project, we want to work with you to decode the feelings of citizens on specific streets, squares, in neighborhoods and parks and gain insights for cities in general. Together we will discover what makes cities of the future places worth living in. Find out all about the project here.

The results of the scientific study “Your Emotional City” together with personal experiences will serve as the basis for this. Let’s discuss together how the German capital could be shaped by 2050 to provide a healthier, liveable environment.

With Dr. Shadi Bagherzadeh Azbari, researcher in the fields of psychiatry and psychotherapy at Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin, and Sephira Kolbe, doctoral student and project coordinator at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin.

This event is part of the citizen science project “Your Emotional City”– a cooperative project with the Interdisziplinäres Forum Neurourbanistik e.V., the university hospital Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin, and Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin.
