Every year in April, Oranienburg celebrates its Orange Day. On the occasion of the Dutch King's Day, the Dutch origin of Oranienburg's namesake, Louise Henriette of Orange, is remembered. With her progressive ideas she gave new impetus to the development of the town and the region. Dutch handicrafts and specialties are as much a part of the offer as local artisans. The "Artistocrats" provide good entertainment with artistry and humor in the castle courtyard and the castle park.
