As part of her exhibition Guaymallén, La Chola Poblete, Deutsche Bank’s "Artist of the Year" 2023, and Lola Bhajan will present a new performance.
With her works, La Chola Poblete resists the exoticization of her indigenous and queer identity and defies cultural and racist stereotypes. She is a member of the Buenos Aires-based activist artist collective Comparsa Drag.
Versatile artist and trans activist Lola Bhajan, involved in musical projects such as “Hermanas Travestis,” impresses with her powerful voice and her passion for traditional music such as baguala and vidala, whose roots lie in northern Argentina, her and La Chola’s home country.
