Behind stretched white fabrics they move human and animal figures: shadow theater is a centuries-old form of storytelling that is performed in many countries around the world. Light and shadow can be used to playfully tell stories with the simplest of means. Jette Aline Schnitzke, educational consultant at Jugend im Museum e. V., will show visitors how they can use their own hands or self-made shapes to invent stories and tell them to each other.
