The Zitadelle Spandau is not only one of the most important Renaissance fortresses in Europe, a historic island of history and a unique cultural site, but is currently also developing into a centre for modern and contemporary art. International visitors, Spandauers, schoolchildren and those interested in culture are attracted by the varied and exciting exhibitions. As an extension of our educational program, you are cordially invited to our art after work format on the Citadel every last Thursday of the month. Alternating guests such as artists, curators and museum staff will give you a look behind the scenes of museum operations, contextualize exhibition content and explain the (art) historical background - from contemporary art positions to confrontations with the past. The focus will be on a relaxed exchange, stimulating discussions, informative conversations, and a cultural start to the evening. So let's lean back, switch on the synapses, sharpen the tongues and activate the earcup - "Shell we talk"?
