Now almost 100 years old, Electronic Music is almost Early Music. Here, too, there are retro movements - away from digital samples and back to analog synthesizers. What is the idea behind the phenomenon of electronic music, which so effortlessly transcends all genres and finally makes the tiresome division between serious and light music obsolete? Perhaps it is that electronic musicians not only use their tools to expand the cosmos of acoustic musical instruments, but also constantly create new musical universes in which the rules of classical composition have to be constantly rethought. HAINBACH, internationally acclaimed composer of experimental electronic music, demonstrates his instruments and talks about his search “for the sounds in between”.
