In 2020, the artist Susanne Runge, who has lived in Berlin since 2009, dealt with the texts of Walter Benjamin's "Berlin childhood around nineteen hundred". The writer lived on Delbrückstraße in Berlin-Grunewald and spent most of his childhood in Berlin, which he wrote down in his memoirs in the 1930s. The result is a series of colorful compositions on paper by Susanne Runge, who, inspired by the moods of the texts, enters into a dialogue with them.
The exhibition is a cooperation project between the Museum Reinickendorf and the Humboldt Library.
