main content start,

To mark Otfried Preußler’s 100th birthday, the Stabi Kulturwerk is dedicating an extensive exhibition to the famous German children’s book author. Based on the author’s estate, the exhibition shows Preußler’s personal and artistic development, the reception of his works in Germany and abroad as well as the author’s intensive exchange with his readers. Manuscripts, first editions, stage versions and radio play adaptations, film props, original illustrations and letters are presented. A specially developed room installation deals with Preußler’s best-known work “Krabat”.
