Löwen-Pilasterfiguren des Deutschen Kolonialhauses vor dem Museum Reinickendorf, um 1903, Das Deutsche Kolonialhaus stand in der Lützowstraße 89/90 in Berlin-Tiergarten

Accompanying the current exhibition "Colonial Traces of Reinickendorf's Industrial History" in the GalerieETAGE, the concern and the necessity arose to re-examine and present selected objects in the rooms of the permanent exhibition in the Museum Reinickendorf from the point of view of a (de-)colonial context. Within the framework of a digital offer for visitors as well as guided tours and discussion rounds with PoC (People of Color), multi-perspective views of the exhibition objects are to be opened here and a second and third voice is to be brought up and heard as interventions.

Curated by Imke Küster and Claudia Wasow-Kania.

Vernissage Thursday, 30.11.2023, 6.30 p.m
