The eventful 100-year history of the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung and its fundamental values of freedom, justice and solidarity are also reflected in a special way in its art collection. On the occasion of the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung's anniversary, a curated selection of the collection will be presented in House 1 of the Foundation  in dialog with contemporary positions of current and former art scholarship holders.

Do you have something to fight for? can be read as a question, but also as an invitation to get involved in society and help shape it: What is worth fighting for in the face of current crises and a democracy that is coming under increasing pressure? Which issues will continue to accompany us and determine our foundation's work in the future? These and other questions are addressed by the artists in our exhibition.

With art works of Gerd Arntz, Bernhard Heisig, Rainer Fetting, George Grosz, Käthe Kollwitz, Wolfgang Mattheuer, Max Pechstein, Karl Schmidt-Rottluff, Lotte B. Prechner and Klaus Staeck. Participating (former) art fellows of the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung: Yevgenia Belorusets, Cihan Çakmak, Soso Dumbadze, Carsten Kalashnikov, Ksenia Kuleshova, Astra Zoldnere and others.
