The Anne Frank Zentrum, the German partner organisation of the Anne Frank House in Amsterdam, is located right next to the Hackesche Höfe in Berlin-Mitte. The focus is on the diary and life story of the Jewish girl who fled with her family from Frankfurt am Main to Amsterdam in 1933 and hid in a back house from 1942 to 1944.
Since 2018, the new permanent exhibition "All about Anne" has been on display, primarily aimed at children and young people. Through Anne Frank's life and diary, they are given access to history and what it still has to do with them today.
The show has been further developed, especially with regard to inclusion and accessibility. The exhibition offers a virtual tour of the Frank family's hiding place in Amsterdam. Exhibition guides, project days and city tours are organised for school classes and youth groups.
