f³ - freiraum für fotografie offers a stage for international photography. Our exhibitions deal visually with the pressing issues of our time in a first-class manner and open up new perspectives on socially relevant topics.
The up to six exhibitions per year set important accents in terms of content and aesthetics in today's flood of images and media. All exhibitions are also accessible virtually in 360° tours, supplemented by in-depth background information. The freiraum (free space for photography) is an exhibition venue of the non-profit Society for Humanistic Photography. Since 2006, it has been promoting committed photography that deals with socially relevant topics.
An ambitious accompanying programme regularly introduces the concepts of the exhibitions and explores their thematic focal points in greater depth. In photo talks, international photographers report on their work around the world, guests from society, politics, and culture meet in photo discussions, and photo tours provide background knowledge. The diverse photo workshops, which approach the medium in new ways, are also popular.
