The Humboldt Forum in the historic center of Berlin is a new place for culture and science, a place of diversity and polyphony. Bringing together outstanding collections and a diverse program of exhibitions, events, cultural education and digital offerings, the visit inspires new insights into the world of yesterday, today and tomorrow. The Humboldt Forum is inspired by its namesakes, Alexander and Wilhelm von Humboldt, and their joy in exploring the world with open eyes and understanding it as an intertwined system of nature and culture. The Humboldt Forum is a new building and thrives on its contrasts - both architecturally and programmatically. The large entrance hall functions as a connecting element. The polyphony of the Humboldt Forum is reflected in the institutional interaction of four players. These are the Prussian Cultural Heritage Foundation with the Ethnological Museum and the Museum of Asian Art of the National Museums in Berlin, the Kulturprojekte Berlin and the Stadtmuseum Berlin, the Humboldt University in Berlin and the Humboldt Forum Foundation in the Berlin Palace.
