At the Science Center, the motto is: just join in! The Spectrum is part of the German Museum of Technology and is one of the largest science centers in Europe. It is particularly popular with families, children and young people, as the motto here is "touch and feel".
Over four floors and an area of around 1,400 square meters, more than 150 interactive experiment stations turn science and technology into a special experience, especially the experiment stations in the "Light and Vision" area: Here you can mix large-format colored light surfaces, whose origins lie in real sunlight, to create new shades of color or marvel at a rainbow floating in space that works entirely without water. Proven experiments such as Foucault's pendulum or the witch's house show the viewer the rotation of the earth or put their sense of direction to the test.
A circulating color band in the spectral colors from violet to red structures the exhibition and facilitates orientation. Experimental stations, exhibits and additional content are designed to be easily accessible, understandable and easy to use. Interactive media stations allow visitors to delve deeper into the topics covered.
