The Museum Pass
The Museum Pass Berlin allows you to explore a wide spectrum of Berlin’s museums on three consecutive days, for no extra charge. The pass is valid at over 30 of Berlin’s museums, including all institutions of the National Museums in Berlin (including the Museum Island), the Jewish Museum of Berlin, the Deutsches Technikmuseum and the Museum of Natural History. It covers all collections and permanent exhibitions, but does not apply to special exhibitions. The Museum Pass can be obtained at any participating museum, in the Berlin Tourist Infos or online. The brochure that comes with the pass gives you a listing of all Berlin museums together with essential information about them.
Berlin Welcome Card
The Berlin Welcome Card allows you to travel anywhere in Berlin by S-Bahn, underground, tram or bus for two, three, four, five or six days. Moreover, it gives you a discount of at least 25% for many museums, theatres, city tours and round trips. The Berlin WelcomeCard must be stamped like an ordinary ticket, and becomes valid from the time when it is first stamped. With this ticket, three children under the age of 15 can also travel free of charge (children aged 6 and under travel free of charge at any time). It can be obtained at the airport, at many hotels, at ticket offices and automatic ticket dispensers at underground and S-Bahn stations, in the Berlin Tourist Infos and online. TThe Berlin WelcomeCard is available in the classic version or as the Berlin Welcome Card Museum Island with free admission on three consecutive days to the museums on Museum Island.
The CityTourCard allows you to travel anywhere in Berlin by S-Bahn, underground, tram or bus. Additionally, it gives you a 15% discount on selected city tours, interactive exhibits, clubs and restaurants. The card can be purchased at ticket offices and automatic ticket dispensers at S-Bahn stations. It becomes valid from the time it is first stamped. The City Tour Card comes in the following variants: CityTourCard for Berlin (AB tariff zones) and CityTourCard for Berlin and Potsdam (Berlin ABC) tariff zones.
Museum Island in one day
For Berlin visitors who want to see several museums on Museum Island in one day, the area ticket Museum Island is recommended. With this card you can visit the Alte Nationalgalerie, the Altes Museum, the Neues Museum, the Pergamon Museum, the Pergamon Panorama and the Bode Museum.
Potsdam's Palaces in one day
In the panorama of Potsdam’s palaces, many palaces and park buildings are just a short walk away from one another. If you have a whole day free and would like to visit more than two palaces, you should purchase a combined ticket. The sanssouci+ ticket includes Sanssouci as well as all palaces in Potsdam (Sacrow Palace and Stern Hunting Lodge are not included). It is obtainable at all palace ticket offices, at the visitor centre or online.
Charlottenburg combined ticket
It is worth wandering through the garden of Charlottenburg Palace, as it has very different sections. The royal buildings are also spread across the park: to the east of Charlottenburg Palace the New Pavilion, further north the Mausoleum with the tomb of Queen Luise and the Belvedere with the porcelain collection. With the charlottenburg+ combination ticket you can also see all these buildings from the inside. It is available at the individual palace ticket offices, in the visitor centres and online. Special exhibitions in the palace are not included in the combined ticket.
