Families welcome!

Going to the museum with the whole family? In Berlin, that's not only feasible for high-income earners. In many museums, admission is free for everyone or free up to the age of 18. Almost all other museums of interest to adults and children alike offer family tickets, and some also offer a "small family ticket" for single parents or mothers and fathers travelling alone with their children. The family tickets are always cheaper than the regular tickets, even with one child. You can see which Berlin museums offer family tickets in our overview.

The Berlin Family Pass, which costs 6 € and is valid for one calendar year, is definitely worthwhile for Berlin families. It gives parents and children, or grandparents and grandchildren, discounts not only on admission to children's theatres, cinemas, zoos and animal parks, swimming pools and sporting events, but also on admission to numerous Berlin museums, on guided tours or on the family ticket. The FamilienPass is available in district libraries, citizens' offices, various shops and also online.
