Museum Sunday

Berlin's museums are open to everyone. Admission is free to over 70 museums on the first Sunday of every month. Museum Sunday is an initiative of the State of Berlin in cooperation with the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media and is organised in collaboration with Kulturprojekte Berlin.
With Museum Sunday, Berlin's museums want to get even more people excited about the city's diverse cultural offerings. Everyone is cordially invited to go on a discovery tour with their friends and families. Everyone is welcome.

The Museum Sunday website provides an overview of the participating museums and their programmes. From art and design, religion, history and nature to everyday culture and technology, there is something exciting for everyone. In some museums, it is possible to book a free time slot or day ticket in advance. However, in most cases, the free tickets are available on site. The online booking option is activated one week before the next museum Sunday.
