Reopening of Berlin's Museums
Berlin Museums have been allowed to reopen since 4 May 2020.
At its meeting on 21 April, the Berlin Senate decided that museums, memorials and similar educational institutions in public and private sponsorship may in principle be reopened from 4 May 2020. Whether the opening is actually possible in individual cases depends on whether the respective institutions can take suitable measures to strictly comply with the hygiene rules and the distance requirement. Only parts of the house may be open or special opening times apply. In any case, you should inquire before visiting whether you need online or time slot tickets, as most museums have to regulate how many people are in the museum at the same time. You can find our overview here, which is updated continuously.
